Melted wire wrap - First clue that all was not well with the wiring harness Melted relay coil in the Voltage Regulator - believed to be the main culprit Another view of the Voltage Regulator How freaking hot did this thing get? Hot enough to melt the glass center of this resistor! Coil wire with insulation completely burned away...including the asbestos sleeve! The Switch from external Voltage Regulator Modified For Use With Internally Regulated Alternator while maintaining the look of external regulation
Removed guts of stock Voltage regulator, jumped connection for brown and blue wires, left white wire and red wire connections open. External appearance of Voltage Regulator gives no clue that there has been a modification. Fake Voltage Regulator Installed Final wiring modification


Oil Pressure Sending Unit Mount - The sending unit supplied with the AutoMeter Oil Pressure Gauge was
too large to physically fit in the factory location, here is how I solved the problem.
